The document is the list version of the 2010 training plan, it contains all of the pre-planned training events for 2010. There will be additional training courses, events and workshops that do not appear in this document.
The Training Plan is updated each year in readiness for the "Training Season".There is also have an on-line Training Calendar that contains the latest training events details
The Training Team has decided to leave a number of spaces in the training plan so that additional training sessions can be conducted throughout the year to suit local needs.

Aviation Basic Knowledge (ABK) Workshop

ABK ManualThere has been a great deal of interest in a number of aviation programs and the best way to start with our aviation capability development is at the beginning.
There are a number of people who already have attained aviation qualifications but we are keen to commence a range of training events that will prepare us for the development of aviation capability including the development of a RAFT capability.
With these developments in mind we are planning to run an Aviation Basic Knowledge (ABK) training event to be held on Saturday the 3rd of July.
The venue for the training has not been secured at this time but we are expecting to make use of a local airport in the Cooma or snowy River districts.
To help with our planning we need to start collecting names of interested people.

The ABK program is normally delivered as a self paced program but we feel that our members would benefit from a more hands-on approach.
